  • Copper Springs Neighborhood has all the conveniences of home located a short walk from the Super Bee high-speed six-pack lift. Plus, it is located directly across the street from the new Copper Station day lodge where you will can peruse shops and dine at restaurants. There is also a fitness facility and two outdoor hot tubs.
  • The Cirque offers upscale, spacious units with full kitchens, perfect for preparing family meals. These condominiums offer family-friendly amenities, including two outdoor heated swimming pools, a hot tub, fitness center and gear lockers.
  • Located in the Center Village less than 250 yards from the lifts, the Covered Bridge Neighborhood is a multi-level condominium complex that is home to Taylor’s Crossing and Tucker Mountain Lodge. The complex is near restaurants, shops, bars, free parking, complimentary shuttle and skier services.

Family-Friendly Winter Dinning in Copper

Pizza is an easy solution for most families, and Gustino’s Lakeside Pizzeria does the trick. Located near West Lake in Copper Village, Gustino’s serves lunch, dinner and happy hour, including beer, wine and New York-style pizza. In fact, Gustino’s imports tomatoes and cheeses straight from Italy, and they only use Colorado meats and homemade dough. You can either dine inside or right along West Lake, or take your pies back to your accommodations.

If you are after fine dining, CB Grille offers an upscale menu in an atmosphere causal enough for the whole family. Parents will be pleasantly pleased with the gourmet meals, wine list and Colorado beers, while kids will delight in their mac-n-cheese, pizza and burgers.

For breakfast, take the family to the Belgian Bean, where adults and kids have plenty of yummy choices. The Belgian Bean is known for its Belgian-style, made-to-order waffles, available with tons of topping options. Other delicious breakfast options include breakfast burritos, homemade quiche, oatmeal, espresso and fresh-baked pastries.

For a quick on-mountain meal, take the kids to T-Rex Grill located at the base of Timberline Express lift. T-Rex Grill serves burgers, which taste especially great on the sunny outdoor deck.

Copper Mountain Family Winter Activities

Four lanes of banked curves, jumps and a long, fun run out are what make The Tubing Hill so fun. One unique thing that sets The Tubing Hill apart from others is that groups can pile on a single tube, enabling your family to ride down the slope all together. Copper Mountain has a surface lift so that it is easy to get back to the top for another run. Plus, there is a full-service lodge onsite with hot drinks and lunch specials. Plus, Critterland, a fun snow play area for younger kids, is adjacent to The Tubing Hill.

Imagine racing side-by-side 30 feet above an ice skating rink. That is exactly what Alpine Rush Zip Line offers. With speeds of up to 30 miles per hour, it’s a total rush.

Have your own skates? If so, ice skating is free for you! If not, rent some skates and hit up West Lake Ice Skating Rink. Copper Mountain’s frozen lake offers more than just skating. There is also broomball and hockey.

Woodward at Copper offers kids the opportunity to learn and progress in a number of action sports, including gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding, biking and more. They also offer digital media programs. The training facility, The Barn, has jumps, parkboards and everything kids need to master tricks.
